FCPNC RECOMMENDATIONS

In 2019, the Flood Control Project Needs Committee examined regional flooding issues and compiled the following report:

In 2018, the FCPNC made these recommendations regarding the proposed 2018 ballot question:

• Recommendation to TRFMA Board of Directors for a Fee Pursuant to Assembly Bill 375 (79th Session of the NV Leg 2017)
• Cover Letter from FCPNC to Washoe County BCC re: ballot question on property tax increase
• Recommendation to Washoe County BCC to impose a property tax in the amount of $0.0248 per $100 of assessed valuation pursuant to the provisions of Assembly Bill 375, 79th Session of the Nevada Legislature (2017), for the purpose of paying for the cost of designing, acquiring, constructing, improving and equipping a flood protection project for the Truckee River
