“The Lockwood area provides a variety of ecosystem services for our community. Any time we have the opportunity to create these natural floodplains, I think it’s an opportunity worth pursuing; especially when we have partners to help with leveraging funding, and implementing and maintaining the projects,” said Danielle Henderson, TRFMA Natural Resource Manager, during a recent interview with This Is Reno.
